<p>PURPOSE:To omit resetting jobs carried out by an operator for each switching of the clock frequency by performing the resetting action via a program and executing a jump instruction held previously to shift the control to the desired program. CONSTITUTION:When the clock frequency is changed, a CPU5 sends the information to a selection circuit 1 according to a clock changing program. In this case, a reset signal generating circuit 2 monitors the action of the CPU5 and supplies a reset signal to the CPU5 via an OR circuit when the change of the clock frequency is through with the circuit 1. Then a switched clock is supplied to the CPU5 from a clock generating circuit 4 by the indication of the circuit 1. The CPU5 is reset and reads the jump address as well as the jump instruction set to a jump instruction holding circuit 3. Then the CPU5 is jumped to a desired address. Thus it is possible to omit the resetting jobs carried out by an operator for each switch of the clock frequency.</p> |
