PURPOSE:To improve the availability of a main memory by using an address converted by an address conversion program in order to give an access to a compressed source space within the main memory of an emulator. CONSTITUTION:An application program to be tested is loaded to a main memory area 10 from a CRT 6 as a test object application program 11 by the back-up of a back-up program 16. The program 11 is compiled by a compiling program 18 and stored in a magnetic disk 14. In a compiling mode the address of an operand part storing a source address to be executed by an instruction after conversion is converted into the test object application program 15 after compiling. A real address is applicable to read or write data to a source space from the CRT 6 for monitoring. The data supplied via the program 16 is converted into a compressed space address by an address conversion program 17 and stored. |
