EXAMPLE:7-[2-(5-Amino-1,2,4-thiadiazol-3-yl)-2-(3-thiethanyloxyimino)a cetamido]- 3-(1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-ylthiomethyl)-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid (syn isomer). USE:Antibacterial agent against Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, etc. PREPARATION:The compound of formula I can be produced by reacting the compound of formula II with the compound of formula III in a solvent such as water, inert organic solvent, etc., under cooling or at room temperature. The compound of formula III is novel substance which can be produced by the reaction of the compound of formula IV with the compound of formula V.
