AQUEOUS LIQUID DISHWASHER COMPOSITION CONTAINING A STABILIZED ENZYME SYSTEM

An aqueous liquid built dishwasher composition containing a stabilized enzyme system comprises a boron compound a carboxylic acid, casein a phosphate builder and an enzyme. The stabilized enzyme system is for use in aqueous liquid built and in aqueous liquid thixotropic clay dishwasher compositions to provide effective proteolytic and amylolytic enzyme cleaning activity to the dishwasher compositions. The aqueous dishwasher compositions may contain other functional inorganic salts, detergent, and a fatty acid metal salt physical stabilizer. The thixotropic properties and the physical stabilizing properties of the dishwasher composition are obtained by adding a small amount of a clay thixotropic thickener and a small amount of fatty acid metal salt stabilizing agent.
