PURPOSE:To start an inverter at low supply voltage by connecting a capacitor in parallel with one part of voltage-dividing resistors at a time when an AC output is changed into DCs, voltage-divided and detected. CONSTITUTION:A commercial power supply 11 is closed, an AC output from the power supply 11 is rectified and smoothed by a rectifier circuit 12 and a capacitor 13, and DC outputs are generated at DC terminals (a), (b). In a starting circuit, the series circuit of a resistor and a capacitor is connected between DC terminals (a), (b), and a bidirectional thyristor 73 is connected to a gate for an FET 22 from a node (e) between the resistor and the capacitor, thus forming a relaxation oscillation circuit. A control circuit 6 is mounted between an output winding 43 for an inverter transformer 4 and a feedback winding 34 for a saturable transformer 3. |
