PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material capable of sufficiently giving anti-flaw property and having less tendency for generating fog and reducing sensitivity by hardening a layer of non-photosensitive layers with a hardener, and hardening a layer of photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers, or a layer of the photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers and a layer of non-photosensitive layers with a low molecular hardener. CONSTITUTION:The titled material is formed by hardening at least one layer of the non-photosensitive layers with the hardener, and by hardening at least one layer of the photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers, or at least one layer of the photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers and at least one layer of the non-photosensitive layers with the low molecular hardener which acts by activating the carboxyl group. The usable high polymer hardener is further preferably a polymer in which an active vinyl group or its precursor is bound to the main chain of the polymer by a long spacer. The hardener of gelatin is exemplified by the low molecular hardener, and preferably, the low molecular hardener having a vinylsulfone group or a triazine ring. |
