The invention relates to a linking arrangement by a cable 2 for a movable probe 3 associated with a main apparatus 1, intended to provide the direct current power supply, from a source 7, of an active device 4 contained by the probe, as well as information transmission, in the form of an alternating signal, between the probe and the said apparatus. The linking cable 2 comprises only two conductors 2a, 2b which carry the direct supply current for the probe 3 superimposed with the alternating signal for information transmission, these two components being combined at one of the ends of the cable 2 and separated at its other end. <IMAGE>
