The invention relates to a device for recycling an X-ray or photographic film fixing bath. It also relates to an apparatus using such a recycling device. The electrolysis tank 2 of the recycling device 1 is equipped with an anode 5 whose structure comprises a blind hole 60 and four channels opening up into this hole 60 and radially according to an angle (...= 25 DEG ) at the periphery of the anode 5, which ensures an optimal flow f of the bath to be treated and almost complete elimination of silver. In these conditions, the bath thus regenerated can be directly recirculated.
