The invention relates to a combustion grate with a back movement. The grate comprises a chassis 1 able to move in a fixed chassis 2, with the aid of carrying wheels 4 moving on elements 5. This grate is characterised in that the beams 3 of the movable chassis 1 are formed by single sectional bars, advantageously standardised, that the carrying wheels 4 are mounted on the beams 3 and that the inclined rolling tracks 5 are provided on the fixed support chassis 2.
