PURPOSE:To prevent a delay in error detection liable to take place at memory reception by detecting its error at the arrival of image data. CONSTITUTION:Data read from, a line buffer memory 4 is inputted to a decoder 6 via a selector 5 and error check is attained. When no error exists in data of one line, an error detection section 7 commands data writing to a memory control section 9 through a path 12. Further, a counter for the number of error lines is provided in the inside of the error detection section 7, the intermission of communication is indicated to a transmission control section 3. Thus, a delay in error detection liable to take place in memory reception is avoided.
