PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of discharge on a void wall-surface, and to lengthen the life of a coil by curing varnish having conductivity applied on the coil wound to a predetermined shape and hexagonally molding the ocil. CONSTITUTION:An insulated wire 1 is wound on a coil former, and a coil 2 having a prescribed shape is formed. The coil 2 is removed from a mold, temporary fixing tapes 3 are wound spirally on linear sections in the coil, and varnish 4 having semi-conductivity is applied on the linear sections in the coil 2. The coil 2 is heated and dried, varnish 4 is cured, and a hexagonal type coil 5 is acquired by a molding equipement. An insulating layer to the ground is shaped on the outside, and inserted into a slot in a core. Accordingly, even when voids are generated, the potential order of void wall-surfaces is lowered, thus inhibiting void discharge, then lengthening the life of the coil.
