PURPOSE:To make it possible to continue scooping operation without stopping a coin feeder even if a coin is wedged into, by providing a rotatable disc having several grooves therein above a stationary plate. CONSTITUTION:If a coil C is wedged into, a push-out roller 10 and a slidable auxiliary plate 9 fixed to the roller 10 are pushed out to extend a spring 11. Then, the slidable auxiliary plate 9 is pulled back and further a slide plate 7 is pulled back by the tension of the spring 11 so that a hole 4a for the coil C is aligned with the position of a stepped part 7a, resulting in a space through which the coin C may smoothly drop being formed. The coin C therefore drops under gravitation onto the stepped part 7a, and is then supported by a coin feed lever 8 so that it waits for the next feed-out occasion. During this period the other plural coins C are further scooped up and stored in the hole 4a. In association with the rotation of a coil scoop-up disc 4, the slidable auxiliary plate 9 is again pushed out and the slide plate 7 is also pushed out accordingly, and therefore, the coins C are fed out to the outside of the hole 4a.
