PURPOSE:To keep the total reflection function even in case of penetration of black particles into a low-refractive index layer and obtain the frosting effect by forming the first layer consisting of materials having a refractive index lower than that of a base material and the second layer, which is an external light absorbing layer including black particles in a paint base, on a total reflection surface. CONSTITUTION:A transmissive screen has an observation-side surface and an incidence-side face, and many lenticular lenses 2 are formed on the observation- side surface, and a part of the lens unit constituting the lenticular lens has a total reflection surface 5 which diffuses the light toward the observation side, and the first layer consisting of materials having a refractive index lower than that of a base material 1 and the second layer which is an external light absorbing layer 9 including black particles having 10-100mum particle size in a paint base 10 are formed on the total reflection surface. If the particle size of black particles 11 is smaller than 10mum, a ratio of the area of penetration in an area thinner than 1/4 wavelength is increased when black particles are buried near the first layer, and the total reflection function is damaged and the frosting effect is insufficient.
