PURPOSE:To manufacture a composite magnetic head core with an excellent magnetic characteristic by using a fluid as a pressure medium so as to heat it while pressing it isotropically, keeping it for a prescribed time under a specific bonding condition, and decreasing the temperature and the pressure thereby suppressing the strain of the bonded face due to the difference in the thermal expansion rate of different kinds of bonding materials to a degree negligibly small. CONSTITUTION:In bonding an Mn-Zn ferrite sintered body 11 being a coil winding section 1 and an Fe-Al-Si group alloy sintered body 12 being a tape contact section 2, the fluid is used as a pressure medium, the temperature is raised while pressing the fluid isotropically, after the fluid is kept for a prescribed time under the bonding condition with the relation of temperature and pressure expressed in equation, the condition between the temperature and pressure expressed in equation is kept, then the temperature and pressure are decreased, where alpha(1) is the volume expansion rate of the Fe-Al-Si alloy, alpha(2) is the volume expansion rate of the Mn-Zn ferrite, K(1) is the volume compression rate of the Fe-Al-Si alloy, K(2) is the volume compression rate of the Mn-Zn ferrite, P is a gauge pressure (kgf/cm<2>) T is a temperature ( deg.C) and a TR is an initial temperature ( deg.C). Thus, the difference from the expansion rates caused in heating the sintered body is cancelled.
