<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the color registration during multi-color image transfer, by superposing a semiconductor layer, an electrode layer, an insulating layer, a support layer and a timing belt, successively one upon another to form an electrostatic adsorbing belt. CONSTITUTION:A main conveying belt unit 9 and a side conveying belt unit 11 are fed with power from power supply members 12a through 12e, 13a through 13d, respectively, and produce electrostatic attraction force which attracts and holds a paper sheet P for conveyance. An electrostatic belt 2 is incorporated with a digital shape electrode which is applied with power fed from a power feed brush 23 connected to a high voltage power source 27, reverse polarity power fed from a power feed brush 23a or grounding by a ground line 28. Further, power supply and grounding are alternately applied to the digital shape electrode to produce electrostatic attraction on the outer surface of the belt, thereby it is possible to attract and convey the paper sheet.</p> |
