Axial bearing with hydrodynamic operation, consisting of two parts which can revolve with respect to one another about a rotation axis 9A, the bearing comprising a first surface 15 and a second surface 17 situated opposite the first. The first surface has one or more bearing groove configurations 19A, 19B which, during a relative rotational movement of the surfaces, establish pressure in a lubricant which, during operation, is situated between the surfaces. Between the first and second surfaces there is a reservoir 21 for the lubricant, one of the surfaces having, in the vicinity of the reservoir, a configuration of transport grooves 23 which is formed in an annular region which is concentric with respect to the axis of rotation and which serves, during operation, to pump the lubricant in the direction of the bearing grooves configuration. …<IMAGE>… |
