PURPOSE:To obtain an image with high quality up to peripheral screen and to increase the photographic magnification by providing an imprinting means which imprints a trimming signal on a film when a trimming selecting means is operated. CONSTITUTION:When a front converter 2 is set to a camera body 4, the front end of an eyepiece frame constituting part 2e of the front converter 2 is put in a slit 4b provided on a rear cover 4a of the camera to switch a detection switch Sw in the rear cover. When this switch Sw is switched, the trimming mode is certainly set for photographing and the trimming signal is imprinted on the film though either of the trimming mode or the non-trimming mode is selected in the side of a camera body 4. Consequently, a range narrower than the normal photographic range is expanded and printed. Thus, the magnification of the front converter itself and that due to trimming photographing are combined to obtain prints of high magnifications.
