PURPOSE:To reduce the number of components, by fitting a metal pipe with the edge of one end of an electroconductive cylindrical body extending through the output- sidering-shaped permanent magnet for a magnetron and electrically coupled to a frame-like yoke, and by causing the edge of the other and of the cylindrical body to surround the cathode terminal lead-out stem of the magnetron. CONSTITUTION:The edge of one end of an electroconductive cylindrical body 16 is fitted in a metal pipe 14 which covers a magnetic pole piece 4 provided at the input- side open and of the anode cylinder 13 of a magnetron 1 and projects from the open end. The fitted edge of the cylindrical body 16 is brazed to the metal pipe 14. The edge of the other end of the cylindrical body 16 surrounds the cathode terminal lead-out stem 2 of the magnetron 1. A portion of a shield case 17 is placed in contact with the cylindrical body 16 by pressure so that the cylindrical body and a frame-like yoke 8 are electrically coupled to each other. The electric length L of the cylindrical body 16 is set at about a quarter of the harmonic wavelength lambda of the magnetron 1. As a result, most of leaking electromagnetic waves proceeding toward the stem 2 through a stem lead wire can be reflected by the choke action of the cylindrical body 16 to make it needless to provide a choke ring in the stem 2.
