PURPOSE:To increase output voltage by forming a nonmagnetizing region to the intermediate section of a magnet fitted on the inner circumference of a flywheel for a magneto generator and augmenting the magnetic flux density of both end sections in the circumferential direction of a magnetic pole. CONSTITUTION:Permanent magnets 6A-6D are mounted on the inner circumference of a flywheel 2 in response to an armature core 3 for a stator 1, thus constituting the rotor 2. Nonmagnetizing regions MA-MD are shaped to the intermediate sections of the permanent magnets 6A-6D. The polarity of magnetizing regions An, As-Ds, Dn on both sides is made to differ, and adjacent magnetizing regions As, Bs-Dn, An are magnetized at the same pole. Rotor magnetic poles 7a-7d are formed by the magnetizing regions Dn, An-Cs, Ds in the adjacent permanent magnets 6D, 6A-6C, 6d. Accordingly, the magnetic flux density of magnetic-pole end sections 7a1, 7a2-7d1, 7d2 is increased, thus elevating output voltage.
