PURPOSE:To give a degree of freedom to the attached position of a fin, by providing a conjoining body to coupling thermally an anode with heat radiation plates, and by placing the inside surface of the conjoining body in contact with the outside surface of the anode, forming grooves in the outside surface of the conjoining body, and fitting the heat radiation plates in the grooves. CONSTITUTION:Rising the temperature of a magnetron during the operation, an anode 6, a conjoining body 9 and heat radiation plates 11, 11' are thermally expanded. If the expansion coefficient of the conjoining body 9 is selected smaller than those of the anode 6 and the heat radiation plates 11, the anode, the conjoining body and the heat radiation plates 11, 11' are deformed corresponding to the temperature rise so that the grade of contact between the anode, the conjoining body and the heat radiation plates is increased. The state of the contact is thus improved so that heat can be transferred well from the anode 6 through the conjoining body 9 to the heat radiation plates 11, 11'. Since grooves are not formed in the outside surface of the anode 6 itself but formed in the conjoining body 9, it is easy to fit the heat radiation plates 11, 11' in the grooves and the reliability of the magnetron can be improved. Optimal design can be perfomed on each of the heat radiation plates 11, 11' to realize the high performance.
