<p>PURPOSE:To form a machine plate by using a device, which can photograph dot lines, solid lines, characters, patterns, etc., on the same film surface, to generate a film on which they are photographed and printing the film on a PS plate. CONSTITUTION:In case a block copy is used to form the machine plate, normal character type parts of a photo-typesetting machine are substituted with dot character or dot line types and rule parts to be erased at the time of copying are photographed with dot lines on a photographic paper and rule parts to be copied at the time of copying are photographed with normal solid lines, thus forming this block copy 20. In case the block copy 20 is used to form a machine plate 18, the block copy 20 is photographed by a camera to obtain a film 16, and this film 16 is printed on the PS plate to form the machine plate 18. A master 22 may be directly formed from the block copy by a master producing device to obtain the machine plate.</p> |
