PURPOSE:To permit the quick information of a titled medium with a simple operation and to lower the decrease of writing sensitivity by forming a protective film essentially consisting of an ethylene/acrylic acid copolymer on a recording layer. CONSTITUTION:An underlying layer 2 and the recording layer 3 are provided on an substrate 1 and thereafter the protective film 4 essentially consisting of the ethylene/acrylic acid copolymer is formed thereon. The coated copolymer is instantaneously cooled and solidified by the heat transmission to the recording layer 3 and the substrate 1 side to form a coated film if the ethylene/acrylic acid copolymer is melted by heating and is coated to a film shape on the recording layer 3 by a coating means such as roll coater or spraying. The time before the protective film 4 is formed after the coating is thereby shortened and further the dissipation of the recording energy during recording is decreased. The recording sensitivity is improved as well. |
