PURPOSE:To shorten the signal transmission time among control means by performing the simultaneous and independent transmission/reception of signals between a 2nd and a 3rd control means as well as a 1st and the 2nd control means. CONSTITUTION:An operating board 200, an optical system control board 300 and a 1st paper feed control board 400 transmit the signals of data, etc., to a main controller 100 when they receive the signals of instructions, etc., from the controller 100. The controller 100 performs the repetitive transmission/ reception of signals to those boards. While a 2nd paper feed control board 500 and a 3rd paper feed control board 600 transmits signals immediately after they receive the signals from a control board 400 and simultaneously with the synchronizing signal received from the board 400. The board 400 performs the alternate transmission/reception of signals with those board devices when it has no transmission/reception of signals with the controller 100. As a result, the number of communication receivers are decreased for each unit and therefore the signal transmission time is shortened between units. |
