PURPOSE:To inhibit an overshoot, and to set a stepping motor in a short time at a short distance by effectively utilizing acceleration pulses and switching time memorized through previously conducted housekeeping operation. CONSTITUTION:On housekeeping operation, a stepping motor 1 is started to be driven, the stepping motor is driven continuously until the vibrations of the motor are removed sufficiently, a timer-up value (t) up to the time when phase is changed over actually after the time when timing pulses are outputted is memorized to a memory at the time when vibrations are eliminated, and the stepping motor is stopped. On drive at the time of the actual use of the stepping motor, the value (t) memorized on housekeeping operation is set to a timer, and phase is changed over at the time when the timer ends. Accordingly, an overshoot can be inhibited even to supply voltage and load fluctuation extending over a wide range. |
