PURPOSE:To greatly improve tail moving property in a false twisting process or in a weaving/knitting process, by giving interlacing to at least the lower end of the innermost layer which is brought into contact with a winding bobbin to provide an interlacing system wherein a interlacing portion has collecting strength which is at least twice as large as that of a non-interlacing portion. CONSTITUTION:Non-extending multi-filament yarn 1 subjected to melt spinning is extended between a nip roller 2 and a draw roller 3 and the extended yarn is wound by a bobbin 6 while winding tension of the yarn is controlled using an interlacing unit 7 based on a ratio of an extending speed to an r.p.m. of a spindle 4. At the time, at least the lower end of the innermost layer which is brought into contact with an winding bobbin 6 wherein tension of the multi- filament yarn is greatly varied is formed of interlacing yarn by the interlacing device 7 and a package is supplied wherein the interlacing portion of the interlacing yarn has collecting strength which at least twice as large as that of a non- interlacing portion (ratio of thickness of the interlacing portion of the interlacing yarn to the noninterlacing portion of the interlacing yarn), whereby variation in tension is restricted for effecting a smooth movement fo a tail.
