PURPOSE:To permit bobbins to be traced easily, by providing an identification data display member to which identification data can be written and from which the data can be erased on a bobbin transportation tray which supports and transports respective spinning bobbins independently. CONSTITUTION:An identification data display unit comprising a rubber magnet sheet 7 is fixed on an iron plate 6. The sheet 7 contains ferrite powder so that it is magnetized easily by a magnet approached thereto. Every time a spinning machine supplies a bobbin, a spindle number of the bobbin supplied to a tray 1 is written by a writing unit 22. More specifically, the tray 1 is turned in a direction shown by an arrow 32 at a prescribed speed at a writing position and an identification portion 10a is magnetized when the bobbin is on the R side, for example, and an identification symbol coded is magnetized on a portion of a section S1. When the bobbin with the spindle number written to it is rewound at a rewinding position, it is taken out if it has many yarn defects and the identification data of the vacant tray is read at a reading head position.
