Apparatus for facilitating personal body care. The invention relates to a device enabling body care (rubbing down, washing etc.) to be made easier by means of a rotating and movable brush 1. This device consists of a brush 1 which is driven in rotation by an electric motor 2 with very low voltage; mounted on a slide 3 which is positioned at the desired height by means of a cord 4 with force of the order of 5 Newtons (500 g). The electric motor 2 is supplied by a safety unit; it is switched on by means of a pull switch. The person coats the brush with the product (soap for example), switches on the apparatus, positions the brush at the desired height and offers the appropriate part of the body to the brush. The device according to the invention is intended in particular for persons having physical impairments (upper limbs, etc.). <IMAGE>
