PURPOSE:To considerably reduce the color shift prescribed with the difference between red image light and blue image light by forming image light incidence and exit surfaces into specific convex cylindrical lens shapes. CONSTITUTION:With respect to the shape of the convex cylindrical lens on the side of an incidence surface S1, relations between a radius R1 of curvature in the center part and a radius R of curvature in a curve part which has the intersection to the major axis of an ellipse according with a formula I as the center are given by a formula II, and drop dimensions l5' from the lens center part along the lens axis in the lens peripheral part are within the range given by a formula III. In the formula I, b<2> is a<2>(1-e<2>) and (e) is 1/N2, and N2 is the refractive index of materials constituting the lenticular lens sheet, and (y) is the minor axis, and (x) is the major axis which coincides with the lens axis. In the formula III, l5 is drop dimensions from the lens center part along the lens axis in the lens peripheral part expressed with the curve part having the intersection between the curve expressing the surface shape of the lens and the major axis of the ellipse according with the formula I as the center.
