PURPOSE:To perform check operation economically in safety by finding the difference between measurement results of plural radiation measuring means, and comparing the difference with a prescribed value and checking measuring functions. CONSTITUTION:The outputs of a 1st and 2nd detection parts 1 and 2 which outputs electric pulse signals of pulse frequency corresponding to the dosage rate of radiation are inputted to counters 13 and 14 through a 1st and 2nd amplifying and crest discriminators 11 and 12. The 1st detection part 1, the 1st amplifying and crest discriminator 11, and counter 13 constitute a high dosage rate measuring means 19 and the 2nd detection part 2, and 2nd amplifying and crest discriminating device 12, and counter 14 constitute a low dosage ratio measuring means 20. The difference between measurement results of a measuring means selected between the measuring means 19 and 20 and an unselected measuring means is found and compared with the prescribed valve to check the measuring functions.
