PURPOSE:To easily, exactly and stably hold a gap between an electrostatic latent image carrying body and a developing roller, by allowing the developing roller to abut on a ring-shaped projecting part provided concentrically with the electrostatic latent image carrying body and a flange, on the flange. CONSTITUTION:The electrostatic latent image carrying body 1 is fitted concentrically with the flange, at both its ends, and rotates at constant speed around a shaft 4. Also, to a part of the flange 2, a spacer ring 3 is fitted concentrically, and by the spacer ring 3, a ring-shaped projecting part is formed. In such way, the spacer ring 3 for determining a gap between the electrostatic latent image carrying body 1 and a developing roller 6 is fitted concentrically to the rotary shaft of the electrostatic carrying body 1, therefore, even in case of having plural pieces of developing devices, the gap between the electrostatic latent image carrying body 1 and the developing roller can be set simultaneously with respect to all the developing devices by only one pair of rings.
