For disinfecting the hands and for hygiene which is gentle on the skin, a liquid dispenser with a holder is proposed, which can be used optionally as a wall-mounted or standing device and can be operated with only one hand due to its special design. This dispenser is filled by the fitter and is delivered with a small valve capsule inserted in the filling nozzle so that the device is directly ready for use without further accessories, with the possibility of removing the liquid therefrom in small metered quantities. If the round dish which is moulded onto the upwardly directed bottom surface of the container is designed as a closable, countersunk filling nozzle, the dispenser can be refilled from a simple supply canister such that the actual dispensing device remains completely intact. <IMAGE>
