PURPOSE:To surely suppress the lack of lines on the border of areas for a small operating time by dividing a memory area in an image memory, analyzing projection waveforms and selecting an interpolation area for reprojection. CONSTITUTION:The memory area including a linear pattern LP is divided into plural areas. The divided areas are rotated by every prescribed angle to obtain projection waveforms based upon plural projecting directions. These projection waveforms are analyzed to extract a line segment corresponding to the linear pattern. The divided areas including the linear pattern are discriminated and an interpolation area for reprojection is selected from the positional relation of these areas. A series of processing for extracting respective line segments is executed in the selected interpolation area. Consequently, the lack of lines on the border of areas can be surely suppressed for a small operating time. |
