PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity and characteristics of durability against repeated uses, by providing a photosensitive layer composed of a charge generating layer and a charge transfer layer made of a pyridazine compound represented by a specified formula on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:A charge generating layer 0.005-20mum thick consisting of a thiopyrilium derived dye or phthalocyanine derived pigment, and a charge transfer layer made of a pyridazine compound represented by the formula I in which R1, R2, R3, R4 are each alkyl, aryl, or an atomic group needed to complete a 5- or 6-membered ring tohether with N, and R5, R6, R7 are each halogen, hydroxy, cyano, alkyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, acyl, aryl, or amino, constitute a photosensi tive layer, and this layer is formed on a conductive substrate to serve as an elec trophotographic receptor. |
