PURPOSE:To obtain a high reliable oxygen sensor with excellent heat efficiency, by a method wherein green sheets of oxygen ion conducting solid electrolyte are formed and first-fourth green sheets and the like thus obtained are laminated, pressed and baked in an oxidizing atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:A hard to sinter paste for electrodes is printed on both sides of a first green sheet 1E to form a cathode electrode 10 and an anode electrode 11 and a hole 7 for a space is provided in a second green sheet 1D of fit a combustible resin plate thereinto. A combustible paste is printed on a third green sheet 1C in such a manner as to have the hole 7 for a space leading outside an oxygen sensor whereby a combustible printed body 21 is formed. A past for a highly heat resistant heater is printed on a fourth green sheet 1B to make a heater 2. A fifth green sheet 1A for reinforcement is laminated on the green sheets 1B-1E, pressed and baked in an oxidizing atmosphere. In this manner, a cover 18 and a sheet of oxygen ion conducting solid electrolyte are formed integral and a heater is imbedded into the oxygen ion conducting solid electrolyte. |
