The invention relates to a process for producing high-strength, seamless hollow articles using rovings and binders comprising synthetic resin, the binder-impregnated rovings being wound free of overlap on a mould core. To improve the process such that hollow articles with virtually identical wall thicknesses along their entire length can be achieved, it is proposed to feed to the mould core a plurality of rovings (6) arranged distributed at a distance adjacent to one another and over the entire length of the mould core (5) and, of these rovings (6), winding a plurality of windings in each case on the mould core (5) such that the windings of the individual rovings (6) follow one behind the other in the axial direction of the mould core (5). <IMAGE>
