PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a control device and to reduce the number of connection cables by connecting a field with a central control unit through a transmission line and arranging a terminal for connecting a signal transmitted/received between a field operator and the control device to the transmission line. CONSTITUTION:The terminal TM3 is connected between the central control unit 2 and the field portable operator 4, and when the operator 4 is connected to the TM3 by a connector through a connection cable 6, a line connection signal is outputted. The operator 4 is provided with a display means 4a for displaying the name and state of an apparatus 1 to be controlled, an input means 4b for applying a command to the apparatus 1, a transmission means 4c for transmitting information to the apparatus 1, a character information storing means 4d for storing character information inputted through the means 4c, and a state storing means 4e for storing the momently changed state of the apparatus 1. The TM3 is provided with an identification setting means 3b for applying an identification number to the operator 4 and distinguishing transmission information and a connection means 3a for connecting cables 5, 6. The device 2 controls the apparatus 1 through an output means 2d based on a control signal sent from the operator 4 through a transmission means 2a. |
