<p>PURPOSE:To predict that P-ROM is faulty, by sensing the abnormal blind sector level of P-ROM before the level approximates a threshold level. CONSTITUTION:The contents of P-ROM are read-in and then compared with detection level C1 by ''1'' detection level comparing circuit 13-1 and the comparison contents are read by CPU10. Then, comparing circuit 13-1 outputs a ''1'' signal when the contents of P-ROM has not reached ''1'' detection level C1 or a ''0'' signal when it has reaches the level. On the other hand, CPU10 compares the contents of P-ROM from gate 12 with the output contents of comparing circuit 13-1; when the both agree mutually, the CPU judges them to be normal and when the both disagree, the CPU judges them to be abnormal and outputs an alarm signal. Similarly, said operation is performed by using ''0'' level detection level comparing circuit 13-0 to check the abnormality of level ''0''.</p> |
