Therapeutic composition for preventing acute heart death of livestock for slaughter due to stress

A therapeutic composition used for preventing acute heart death (e.g. on transport of pigs) and consists of a fatty composition which contains cardiac/sedative agents in predetermined amount, the fatty composition being applied in the form of streaks to the surface of the livestock, and a process for producing it are indicated.
