PURPOSE:To call back a calling subscriber directly by storing the number of an extension subscriber or the number of the external calling subscriber corresponding to a trunk line trunk when the trunk line is engaged by a PBX- equipped extension or international origination or request origination of the external calling subscriber. CONSTITUTION:When a PBX 1 decides that an international call origination request is an international dialing call from its inter.national dialing access code, the extension number of an extension 7 is found from its equipment position and stored as a caller number in a caller number storage area in a storage device 9 corresponding to the trunk line trunk 5 at the time of the acquisition of the trunk line trunk 5. When the extension 7 is disconnected at the end of the call, the trunk line trunk 5 is not released, but made ready to receive a recalling signal (ring-down incoming) from the trunk line. When a recalling signal is received from the trunk line, the caller, i.e. extension 7 is called back based on the caller number stored in a pair with the trunk line trunk 5.
