PURPOSE:To optionally control the timing and quantity of fuel injection by providing check valves in between plural fuel pressurizing chambers and an overflow passage respectively and opening and closing the low pressure side outlet port of said overflow passage in accordance with the operating condition of an engine by means of one solenoid valve. CONSTITUTION:An overflow passage 11 is commonly used for plural fuel pressurizing chambers 1a-1n, and check valves 12a-12n are provided in between the overflow passage 11 and the bypass ports 13a-13n of the fuel pressurizing chambers 1a-1n respectively. A solenoid valve 14 is provided in between the overflow passage 11 and its low pressure side outlet port 15 and is controlled by a control part 21 to open and close the low pressure side outlet port 15, thereby, regulating the injection timing and injecting quantity of fuel. A fuel cam reference signal and an engine speed signal from a revolution sensor 35 as well as various informations on an engine operating condition are sent to the control part 21. Thereby, fuel injection from each fuel pressurizing chambers 1a-1n can be optionally controlled by the electric means of opening and closing the solenoid valves A, B.
