In order to produce a maker's emblem for motor vehicles, the emblem having three-dimensionally formed letters and/or image elements and fastening pins which are mounted on parts of these elements and can be inserted in corresponding body perforations, it being possible, in addition, to insert the emblem in a recess, which is approximately adapted to the outline of the said emblem, in the body sheet-metal or the like of the motor vehicle, which emblem prevents the formation of areas of dirt and corrosion inside the recess, it is proposed that the emblem (1) be inserted in a hemispherical casing (4) made of an elastic material and that the casing (4) have a radially projecting circumferential sealing lip (5). <IMAGE>
