<p>Method for separating arsenic from an acidic aqueous solution which contains arsenic and other metal ions, which method is characterized in that the acidic aqueous solution is brought into contact with an organic diluent, immiscible with water, which contains polyhydric alcohols, preferably alkanediols, in different percentages as solvents, with the arsenic being extracted again from the organic solvent with a countercurrent solvent.</p> |
