PURPOSE:To preclude variance in detected value by accurately controlling a gap between a fixed electrode plate and a movable electrode plate. CONSTITUTION:The distance S from the fixed electrode plate 40 to the lock surface 42b of the base end part 42a of a spacer 42 is so set that the gap between the fixed electrode plate 40 and movable electrode plate 38 is G in a state wherein the spacer 42 is formed on a fitting plate 32 by outsert molding. The gap G between the fixed electrode plate 40 and movable electrode plate 38 is therefore controlled accurately by accurately controlling the distance S. Thus, only one distance S of the spacer 42 is controlled to preclude variance in detected value, so that a pressure sensor 30 has high practicality.
