PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of a hot water supplying apparatus, by providing a flow controlling valve which controls the flow rate by a signal from a total flow comparator which compares a signal from a total flow setter with a signal from a total flow accumulator, and by a signal from a flow comparator which compares a signal from a flow adder with a signal from the total flow comparator. CONSTITUTION:When feeding of hot water is started and the value of signals from a total flow accumulator 27 reaches a reference value previously set by a total flow setter 29, a signal from a total flow comparator 28 is fed to a flow controlling valve 30, which is closed to stop feeding of hot water. When the flow rate controlling valve 30 is not completely closed due to clogging by refuse, a signal is output from the total flow comparator 28, and the other signal is also output from a flow adder 26. Then a signal from a flow comparator 31 is fed into the flow controlling valve 30 to bring it into action to close itself again, and at the same time a signal is fed into an alarm buzzer 32, which is to be actuated to sound an alarm. If clogging by refuse is not solved by another action of a flow controlling valve 30, an alarm is sounded to inform a trouble.
