PURPOSE:To store image information in plural first image storage parts in a short period by storing the image information which has been read by a read means, in a second image storage part, and storing successively the image information which has been stored in the second image storage part, in plural first image storage parts. CONSTITUTION:The titled device consists of plural first image storage parts 3a, 3b in which plural image information is stored, a data storage part 4 for storing a retrieving data of every image information which is stored in the first image storage parts 3a, 3b, a designating means for designating a storage of the same image to the fist image storage parts 3a, 3b, a read means 2 for reading an image of an original, a second image storage part 5 for storing the image information which has been read by this read means 2, and a control means 1 for storing successively the image information which has been stored in the second image storage part 5, and also, storing its retrieving data in the data storage part 4, at the time of designation. In this state, the image information which has been read by the read means 2 is stored in the second image storage part 5, and this image information is stored successively in the first image storage parts 3a, 3b by the control means 1.
