<p>The body of a service column for electrical distribution is composed of an I-shaped cross-section vertical core (17) which is closed on either side of its central part by U-shaped snap-fittable covers (19, 28) of different cross-sections, in such a way as to form a box having two separate compartments (32, 33) of depths which are respectively different according to the needs.
