<p>Machine in which cutting of the strap (7) is effected by localised heating, the deformation of the strap by the said heating being used to separate the lower surface of the strap from the upper surface (20) of the package held by the said strap, it being possible for this localised heating to be produced by electrical heating using a resistance element, two electrodes (23), spaced in the transverse or longitudinal direction of the strap (7), being applied to the upper surface of the said strap which bends through thermal expansion between the bearing points of the two electrodes. <IMAGE></p> |
