PURPOSE:To appropriately aperture-correct both a composite signal and initially separated signals Y and C by making the correction amount of an aperture correction circuit smaller when an initially separated luminance signal Y and an initially separated carrier chrominance component C are reproduced. CONSTITUTION:When switches S1 and S2 are connected to contact points A and A, a switch S3 is off. The aperture of the composite signal Y/C from a terminal 1 is appropriately corrected to reproduce a screen. Conversely, if the switches S1 and S2 are connected to contact points B and B, the luminance signal Y and the carrier chrominance component C from terminals 9Y and 9C are supplied to circuits 3 and 7 through the switches S1 and S2, and the screen is reproduced. Since the switch S3 turns on in interlocking with the switches S1 and S2 at that time, a voltage Ea is lower than a resistance R4, and the aperture correction amount is made smaller accordingly. By selecting the value of the resistance R4, the appropirate aperture amount can be attained and a natural reproduced screen can be obtained.
