<p>PURPOSE:To carry out recording by an ink jet method with high surface gloss and image density as well as improved resolving power water resistance and preservation quality of the recorded images, by carrying out recording using a recording solution having a specific surface tension on a material, having an ink transporting layer and ink holding layer and used for recording. CONSTITUTION:For example (A), an ink holding layer, preferably a nonporous layer, consisting of polyvinylpyrrolidone, etc., and having 3-20mu thickness and (B) an ink transporting layer, preferably a porous layer, consisting of nondyeing particles, e.g. polyethylene resin, etc., and binding material, e.g. PVA, etc., and having 3-50mu thickness, are successively formed on a substrate, e.g. polyethylene terephthalate film, etc., by a bar coater method, etc. and a recording solution having 30-65dyn/cm, preferably 40-60dyn/cm surface tension at 25 deg.C (preferably obtained by dissolving a water-soluble dye in a mixed solvent of water and polyhydric alcohol, e.g. diethylene glycol, etc.) is used for recording on the resultant material to be recorded to carry out the aimed recording.</p> |
