PURPOSE:To prevent dust generated by the wear of a commutator or other parts from entering into a bearing, by fitting on the outer ring of said bearing a bearing seal with a radially extended lip part formed integratedly with said bearing seal, and bringing said lip in pressing contact with the inner end surface of a bearing box. CONSTITUTION:A bearing seal 1a is formed to have a radially extended lip part 1b integratedly and is fitted on the outer ring 1c. An inner peripheral lip part 1e is assembled in contact or no contact with a inner ring 1d, which is press-fitted on the shaft of an armature 3. Said outer ring 1c is fitted into a bearing box 2a with a clearance of running fit and said lip part 1b is assembled so as to be able to absorb the thrust play B of said armature 3. Said outer ring 1c does not rotate when said armature 3 rotates and, as said lip part 1b is made elastic, said lip part 1b is not parted from the inner end surface of said bearing box 2a even when said armature 3 moves axially.
